OFFICIAL HOME OF THE PERTH BLACK SWANS CC
ABOUT US
The Perth Black Swans CC was founded in Perth, West Australia in 2008 by father and son “Toro” and “Two Ball” Metcalfe. The first BSCC Sixes tour was to Phuket, where we lost the Spoon Final. We have since toured Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Koh Chang, The Philippines, Hua Hin, Cornwall in the UK and Halls Head in West Australia. Several of us continued to play for the Southerners at Chiang Mai until they stopped touring there in 2010. We have also played as 'Hongsai' or the 'Sandy Swans' at the Koh Chang Beach Sixes.
In addition, we have played several T20 games in Bangkok in combination with the Southerners under the name The Southern Swans and also as Wanachote Wanderers CC (in annual charity matches vs Halls Head CC and Secret Harbour Dockers CC).

Our club motto “Ludus - Amicitia - Beneficium” means ‘Fun (or Sport)’ - self explanatory; ‘Friendship’ - not only among present and past Swans but with others we know and meet through cricket; and ‘Service’ - alluding to our fundraising efforts for various charities such as our current projects Breast Cancer Care WA and Baan Mai school in central Thailand.
